100% Pure
You won't find a phony fiber in a Sweaterstop sweater! Every one is made of 100% sheep's wool or 100% cotton.

They are unusually soft and comfy thanks to the hand-spinning techniques employed for centuries by the Aymara Indians of Bolivia.

The yarn, dyed in small batches gives the sweaters rich, vibrant colors rarely found in any knitwear.

100% Hand-Crafted
Each sweater is hand knit by highly skilled Bolivian craftspeople working in their own homes. Because the designs are so difficult, only the most talented artisans craft these sweaters. Some make just 1 sweater per week, while others can make up to 4, with the help of a spouse, parent or children. Finally, every sweater is individually inspected for quality control.

Limited Quantity, Real-Time Inventory
Because of the unique talents and time required, only a limited number of sweaters can be produced each year. That limits our supply, but please be assured that our inventory is maintained in real-time so you will know that the sweater is available when you place your order.

Cleaning
Clean by hand washing in cold water and drying flat or by dry-cleaning. When dry-cleaning request that the ceramic and horn buttons be protected.

Each Sweater Is Unique
No two sweaters are exactly the same, so, while the detailed description for a certain style may say it's about 25 inches wide across the chest, the sweater you receive may be anywhere from 24-1/2 to 26 inches across the chest. This type of variation commonly occurs in hand made sweaters, and like the occasional piece of straw or strand of long black hair that is sometimes knit right into the sweater, we enjoy these signs of authenticity as they connect us to the talented artisans who knit these sweaters in a different hemisphere.

The Designer
All of our sweaters are designed by Yumiko Suzuki and produced by Artesannias Toshy SRL BOL. Artesannias Toshy provides jobs for almost 2000 Bolivians. All copyrights are reserved by Yumiko Suzuki.

So, whether you're curling up on a cold autumn morning, running errands on an early winter day, taking a spin around the ice skating rink or layering under a coat on a brutally cold winter night, your new sweater will warm your body and soul and put a smile on your face.
