1. How do
I know if the one-size sweater will fit?>
Relevant dimensions are included in the
detailed description for each sweater. Dimensions include:
the width across the chest from seam to seam; the length
of the sleeve measured from the underarm seam; and the
length of the sweater measured from the shoulder seam.
We also include a Sizing Chart with additional information.
Since these sweaters are all hand made, no two are identical
and the sweater you receive may vary slightly in its
dimensions. For example, a sweater described as measuring
about 25 inches across the chest may actually measure
from 24-1/2 to 26 inches across the chest. Such variations
are commonly found in hand knit sweaters.

2. Can I
return a sweater?>
If you are not completely satisfied with
a product for any reason, just return it to us within
30 days and we will refund the purchase price or replace
it if you prefer. If we made a mistake with your order
and you return it to us via the United States Postal
Service (insured), we will refund the postage to you.

3. How much
do you charge for shipping and handling?>
We ship via the United States Postal Service
(USPS) Priority Mail and we charge you only what USPS
charges us. WE MAKE NO PROFIT ON SHIPPING AND HANDLING.
We believe that the USPS offers the most cost- and time-efficient
service currently available: 2-3 business days for the
continental U.S. at the lowest price currently available
for similar delivery times. We will continue to monitor
new shipping options to make sure that we always provide
you with the most cost and time efficient shipping method
available.

4. How should
I care for my sweater?>
Our sweaters may be cleaned either by
hand washing in cold water and drying flat or by dry
cleaning. When dry cleaning, please request that the
ceramic and horn buttons be protected.

5. Who designs
the sweaters and where are they made?>
All of our sweaters are designed by Yumiko
Suzuki and produced in Bolivia by Artesannis Toshy SRL

6. What credit
cards do you accept and is it safe to use my credit card?>
We accept Mastercard and VISA.
Our website is secure. We use
the Secure Socket Layer Protocol (SSL) to ensure that
ordering information is sent directly to Sweaterstop.com,
and that only Sweaterstop.com can decode it.
This is how the secure server works. Every
order at www.Sweaterstop.com is secure. All of the data
which you submit during the checkout process is encrypted
using SSL encryption. Once you click on "Check
Out" your browser will verify that it is communicating
with www.Sweaterstop.com. When a positive identification
is made, your order will continue. At this point, your
computer and our server will change their communication
from "standard mode" to "Secure Mode"
using an encrypted format. We can now ask you for and
you can securely send to us your personal and credit
card information. You can tell you are in Secure Mode
because the beginning of the URL address will change
from http:// to https://; the "s" stands for
secure. If you are still uncomfortable submitting your
information, you can fax us at 1 847-317-7355 to place
your order.

7. Do you
offer gift certificates?>
We provide gift certificates to fit every
budget. There is no shipping fee for gift certificates.

8. Do you
accept international orders?>
We ship internationally via Global Express
Mail, a service provided by the United States Postal
Service. At present we are not programmed to accept
international orders automatically, due to customs requirements.
If you live in a country other than the United States,

and we will advise you by email as to cost and delivery
time to your country.
We do not ship to the UK. If you live

9. What about
my privacy concerns?>
At Sweaterstop.com we are concerned about
your privacy. For each visitor to our website, our web
server only recognizes the visitor's domain name not
their email address unless you voluntarily provide us
with your email address. We do collect the email address
of those who communicate with us by email. We do not
share these email addresses with outside parties. We
also collect personal information which you voluntarily
provide to us such as name, address, credit card information,
but we do not retain your credit card information. We
collect the same information which you provide to us
about other people, for instance when you send a gift
or gift certificate. We may use this information to
send you updates on our products and donations made
to the Heifer Project International. If you do not wish
to be contacted with this information, please let us
know by sending us an email and we will remove you from
our list.
We may supply your mailing address, but not your email
address or your telephone number, to other reputable
companies. If you do not want us to share this information,
please email us and we will remove your name from the
list before sending the list on to these other companies.

a different question, how do I contact you?>
The best way to contact us is to send
an email. We check our messages frequently so you can
expect to hear back from us soon. At times, though,
we may be unable to receive or send emails due to technical
problems beyond our control. In what should only be
an unusual occurrence, we ask for your patience.
